So who's tried Bing?

Thoughts?

I've used it, but really for nothing more than a test drive. They have my cell number under my business listing... bastards. I don't really see how it does much that Google or Yahoo! doesn't already provide, except for a really nice image in the background of a lighthouse.

I'm interested to hear what you guys think. Maybe it's better with Vista/Windows 7?

I love it! It's the best search engine out there! Go Bing!

Ok fine, I admit, my site is listed higher in Bing than Google. tongue.gif Other than that, it's just another inferior search engine to Google.

I really don't think any other search engine will ever top Google. They have so many extra features that make it more than just a search engine. I've never tried Bing by the way.

I use MSN as a home page and they pretty much are the ones that came up with bing. The thing I like about it is that if you have it enabled in your tool bar witch if you already use MSN you already have you can then high light any word on any page that doesn't have right click disabled and bing will display a little icon or icon's above the selection that will direct you to information on that selection.

. . . . . . . . bing . . . . . . . .

Actually Zombie if I understand it right, Microsoft's Live Search was rebranded as Bing. Same search with a few tweaks and a new graphical interface.

Heh, everyone thinks Bill Gate's is Microsoft & gives him so much more credit than he ever deserved.

QUOTE
Bill Gates stepped down as chief executive officer of Microsoft in January, 2000. He remained as chairman and created the position of chief software architect. In June, 2006, Gates announced that he would be transitioning from full-time work at Microsoft to part-time work and full-time work at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He gradually transferred his duties to Ray Ozzie, chief software architect and Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer. Gates' last full-time day at Microsoft was June 27, 2008. He remains at Microsoft as non-executive chairman.

He wasn't even working at Microsoft was Bing was released.
